Create the Attach Pattern

Subject: Create a 200 pin Die Attach Pattern that includes 2 Power rings with net and die bond pad assignments.

Advantage: Optimizes design for accuracy

Specifications:

• Use die from library
• Include Include DBP
  • X offset = "0.1"
  • Y offset = "0.1"
• Curved Variable Radius fanout pattern

  • In the Radius edit box, type “20.00”

  • In the Maximum Distance To Die edit box, type in “2.25”.

  • The Pad to Pad Gap edit box should be set to 0.10.

  • The Pad Length edit box should be set to 0.35.

• Die pad shape = Oval 

  • Pad Length = “0.35”

  • Pad Width = “0.1”.

• Die Pad to Pad Gap = "0.1"

• Corner type Power Rings

  • GND Ring

    • Gap to DBP = "0.15"

    • Width = "0.3"

    • Radius = "0.15"

  • VDD Ring

    • Gap to previous ring = "0.12"

    • Width = "0.3"

• Assign specific pins to GND ring

  • Pad Length = "0.2"

• Assign specific pins to VDD ring

  • Pad Length = "0.2"
