The SIMLINK PAKSI-E utility is an add-on module to our IC Package Design Suites.
SIMLINK PAKSI-E is a versatile electrical simulation and design tool for all advanced IC packages. This tool has been compiled to increase the productivity of engineers and researchers in the areas of designing, modeling, and simulation of IC packages.
A designer can create a solid 3D finite element model, extract the equivalent electrical circuit including all parasitic R, L, C & G, analyze critical net and power/ground nets’ electrical performance, and much, much more. With our super fast F.E. computational algorithm, SIMLINK PAKSI-E offers the only electrical simulation and design tool for IC packages with quantified, rock-solid accuracy.
CAD Design Software Design Environment
Finished Design
Once your layout is done in CDS, run a complete
NetChk (Capture PCB Netlist and Compare PCB
Netlist to Reference Netlist) on the design. Use the Highspeed command to run calculations for Material Thickness, Dielectric Constant, Permeability and Loss Tangent.
Run the SIGINTEG command and the Signal Integrity dialog box appears. Make desired settings for design characteristics and analysis options and run the conversion.
The installed Paksi-E analysis engine is accessed and the data is read into the Paksi engine. Then returns the converted data to CAD Design Software.

3D Finished Design with analysis
Use the SIGINTEG command in CAD Design Software to view the returned 3D data of the design and analyze the various ground planes, thermal stress points,
etc.
