• 3D Design automatically generates ASIS compatible solids including voids, holes and boundaries from a design done with CAD Design Software.
  
  
• Autorouting automates the routing process of ball-grid arrays and other tight PCBs. It contains powerful features to streamline the routing process of dense BGA, CSP, PCB and Hybrid/MCM designs. 
  
  
• Advanced Design Rule Checking (DRC) features an innovative new type of design rule checker. Advanced DRC (ADRC) is a high speed design rule checker that verifies all aspects of the design (not just clearances, but angles, sizes, or any relationship).
  
  
• Advanced MCM (Advanced Multiple Chip Module) is an advanced tool for complex Stacked Die and other multi-chip packages. The AMCM module combines and greatly expands the features of our popular Hybrid, Stacked Die and FlipChip tools.
  
  
• Edge Solid Designer is included with CDS Master Designer Suites™ or as Stand-Alone software for use directly Inside AutoCAD® or Microsoft Windows™. It provides many tools to convert overlapping solid entities to composite outlines and to clean up boundary artwork.
  
  
• CAM Design and Output features automatic BGA strip creation with your design arrayed inside and all necessary fiducials, tooling holes and plating bars.
  
  
• Packaging Documentation automatically generates semiconductor packaging documentation process by creating complex cross sections with dimensions, tables of information, wire bonding diagrams, and other detailed fabrication and assembly diagrams.
  
  
• Design Rule Checker is the power behind CAD Design Software's accurate and real time clearance checking technologies. Autorouting and other automatic tools use this real time engine to produce precision accuracy down to the Sub-Micron.
  
  
• GDS II Artwork Input, Output and Viewing is included with CDS Master Foundry Designer Suite™ or as Stand-Alone software for use directly Inside AutoCAD® or Microsoft Windows™. GDS II In/Out is a bi-directional translator that converts an AutoCAD drawing to a GDS II stream file format, and reads any GDS II stream file into an AutoCAD drawing with easy-to-use dialog box controls. 100% true conversion.
  
  
• Gerber Artwork Input, Output and Viewing which we call our GerbARX utility is included with CDS Master Designer Suites™ or as Stand-Alone software for use directly Inside AutoCAD® or Microsoft Windows™. Create Gerber translation code from AutoCAD drawings (ACAD-To-Gerber). This is the most complete Gerber code generator in the world! Additionally, the (Gerber-To-ACAD) utility can read Gerber code into AutoCAD.
  
  
• High Speed makes electrical calculations based on information in the PCB layout. The following calculations may be made within CAD Design Software for each net: resistance, capacitance, inductance, propagation delay, and line width calculated for a specific impedance requirement.
  
  
• Impedance Calculator is available as a Stand-Alone software for use directly Inside Microsoft Windows™ or can be added to our CDS Master Designer Suites™.  It performs two way calculations between the following parameters: line width, differential line width & spacing, substrate thickness; and impedance, and dielectric constant for various microstrip and stripline configurations.
  
  
• Rebuilding is a set of commands that convert an unintelligent drawing or Gerber data to an intelligent CDS drawing.
  
  
• Routing is the focus of all forms of trace routing in CDS. With power any angle routing features including real time DRC checking, Routing Technology speeds up the routing process. 
  
  
• SMT Extended Parts Libraries may be added to CDS Master Designer Suites™. It contains many SMT Plus Inc. standard components in CAD Design Software/AutoCAD library form.
